Introduction of the project

Our company, GeneralCom Mérnöki Kft., is a leading player in the field of mobile telecommunications in Hungary. We provide our services to mobile and fixed telecommunications operators as well as international telecommunications equipment manufacturers. During the turnkey construction of a typical mobile base station, we first find the right location for the service provider and negotiate the lease contract. We then prepare technical drawings, structural and construction plans and steel structures. During the construction phase, we carry out the structural work, install the radio equipment, carry out the electrical work and set up the transmission connections.

We place great emphasis on the continuous training of our professionals to ensure high professional standards. Our engineers and project managers attend regular chamber, internal and external training courses. Our integrated management system keeps track of and monitors the training of our staff.
A large part of our tasks involves working at height. As the legal requirements have become stricter in this respect, an OKJ qualification is required for such work. Among the training courses, 10 people will be trained as industrial mountaineers. The training is a 150-hour training course. The increasing expectations of our customers and the often inflexible attitude of our clients mean that everyday work generates considerable conflict and stress. When dealing with external partners, it is of paramount importance to be able to present our offer, our services and our position in a way that is effective. The digitalisation of office work also raises expectations for the strengthening of IT competences. We also expect training to bring significant efficiency gains.
ICT training is planned for the project, Excel and ECDL (database management). Knowledge of excel and access is essential for daily work and especially for project planning. At the moment a good part of our employees do not have sufficient knowledge and we would like to improve this. We are planning a comprehensive leadership skills training (Effective Leadership Skills) for the management which will last 28 hours and will be attended by 17 people. This could increase the motivational capacity of leaders and improve leadership attitudes. A preliminary knowledge assessment has been carried out by the selected Training Institution when designing the training and the programme will be fully tailored to our needs.

Resilience training

  • Setting worthwhile, achievable goals, personal action planning,
  • Cognitive coping techniques,
  • Physical activity, relaxation quick techniques.

Impact of training

  • Employees get an idea of their own resilience level and condition.
  • They discover hidden inner resources and learn techniques to strengthen their mental stamina.
  • They will be able to handle difficult situations.
  • They can manage stress.

Training duration 24 hours.

Effective leadership training

Perhaps the most important ingredient in the recipe for success is self-awareness and motivation. If these two are in place, success is 90% guaranteed. Often, even if we are motivated, even if we do our best, the world around us does not see us as we would like to see ourselves!
The training will help participants to get to know themselves better, find and sustain the motivation within themselves to impact their own and their subordinates' performance and overall business results. Together we will discover the key points that are necessary to truly manage ourselves!
